2 Day Trip Fes to Merzouga desert & Back - Private desert tour


The 2 Days trip from Fes to Merzouga desert is the shortest Sahara desert tour starting from Fez. This desert trip let you explore the Berber culture, Food, and lifestyle. Experience Camel trekking  in the Sahara desert. enjoy Amazing Sunset and Sandboarding in Erg Chebbi sand dunes. Enjoy an overnight under stars at Berber traditional camp. ( Luxury or standard – depends on your choice). You will also, discover the stunning views of ziz Valley, Atlas Mountains, berber small villages…Ect. On the following day we will enjoy the sunrise in the middle of Merzouga sand dunes. Then ride camels or 4wd back to Merzouga village. After that, take the road trip Merzouga to Fes back.

Day 1 : Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Ziz Valley – Merzouga desert – Camel Trekking – Overnight at desert camp.

Camel Tours Morocco Agency driver  / Guide will pick you up at 08:00 am from your hotel/ Riad in Fes. Then start our 2 Days Morocco tour fes to Merzouga. We travel to the beautiful city of Ifran known as “Moroccan Switzerland “. We will explore Azrou, the famous cedar forest where we can enjoy the view of the huge tall Cedar trees.

You may feed the monkeys before we reach Boulaajoul for lunch. Then we will continue our drive through the ” Ziz Valley “. After that we will visit Erfoud city known for it’s fossils. Then,  Upon our arrival to Merzouga. We starts our camel rides adventure in the sand dunes of Merzouga in order to admire the magical sunset. Moreover, Enjoy a local dinner on a Sahara desert camp. After dinner,  We will enjoy Berber local music drums, Overnight stay at a Berber desert camp with shooting satrs, Milkyway…Ect. 

Day 2 : Sunrise Camel ride in Merzouga – Back to Fes

Today is the second and last day tour of our 2 days Fes desert trip. Your camel guide will wake you up early to watch desert sunrise. Then, go back to the camp take shower & Breakfast. Then, we ride camels in Erg Chebbi dunes to Merzouga Village where we will ride our 4×4 or Minivan again and back to Fez city through Rissani Market, Errachidia, Ziz Gorges , Midelt, Cedar forest, Ifrane. Arrive at Fez where our Private 2 Days Fes Merzouga sahara tour ends.
