The 8 Days Morocco Itinerary Tangier to Marrakech – One week Travel Morocco, is packed with many sites, making your tour interesting as you’ll be experiencing one scenery follow another. Day 1 : Tangier – Chefchaouen 

In the first day of your 8 Days Tangier to Marrakech Morocco Trip. You will meet Camel Tours Morocco driver / Guide at Tangier port or airport. Start drive through the Rif mountains passing via Tetoun city to enjoy the views of the beautiful mountains till we get to Chefchaouen. It’s o one of the stunning villages in the Rif mountains. Chefchaouen medina had a Spanish-style square surrounded by many funky arts and crafts stores. Free afternoon to visit Chefchaouen. Overnight stay in Chefchaouen.

Day 2 :  Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

Today after your breakfast in the Riad, our authentic Morocco Journey, will start towards Volubilis. Crossing via Ouazan and other Rif villages. So in Volubilis we will discover the Roman ruins and learn about the archeological site of Moroccan history. Then after the visit of the ruins, we will shift our way to Meknes city the 17 Th century heritage. There we  stop for lunch and hang around the historical huge walls of the medina, Bab El Mansour and enjoy a visit of Moulay Ismail shrine. Finally after the visit of Meknes. We will drive directly to Fes city. Overnight stay in Fes. 

Day 3 : Visit Fes with local Guide 

After breakfast in the Riad, the local guide will start the guided day tour of Fez to explore this great city, the oldest, richest, cultural, religious, spiritual, and mysterious of the four imperial cities of Morocco, which you will notice has not suffered the passage of time, you will visit the old Jewish quarter called Mellah, and the Royal palace gate yard, where you will learn about the Jewish history in Morocco. Your visit includes the tile art factory. Then a wonderful panoramic view of the town, after that You will start with a walking tour within the narrow streets, visiting the famous old Tanneries, and then the Quaraouine Mosque and the University which is the oldest university in the world, the Attarin Medersa, and the Najjarin Fountain and after the tour, we drive you back to your riad. Overnight stay in Fes.

Day 4 : Fes – Atlas – Ifrane – Azrou – Ziz Valley – Sahara desert

Today, after breakfats we will go on a Sahara desert adventure to Merzouga desert. On the road we will  cross several Berber towns like “Ifrane” is a summer resort town with a European look in the Middle Atlas Mountains. We drive to Azrou Cedar forest for monkey pictures. Then to Midelt for our lunch. In the afternoon, we will cross the valley of Ziz & Errachidia, the city and capital of the province. After that we will arrive in “Erfoud” know for it’s fossils musuems. Arrive in Merzouga desert. Overnight stay in a riad.

Day 5 : Merzouga desert tour & Camel Trekking – 1 Nights in desert camp

After breakfast at your lodging we’ll begin our Merzouga 4×4 journey to investigate extraordinary and intriguing destinations around Erg chebbi rises. We’ll visit Hassi labied desert spring to see its water system trench and land horticulture, we’ll head south to the occasional Dayt Sriji lake ( if there’s water in it). We’ll proceed to Khamlia town in the event that you are intrigued to tune in to the gnawa music of the brown complexion individuals who were brought to Morocco as movement more than hundred years prior and they were functioning as slaves…

Day 6 : Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges 

In order to take lovely pictures, you will awake before sunrise (optional). Then have breakfast & shower. We depart to Dades Valley, and stop in Rissani in order to  visit of the local Souk “Market”, the traditional market. After this, you take a stop in Erfoud to have a look on the fossilized stones in a small factory. After that, we will continue our road trip towards Todra gorges, We will have some time to walk among the cliffs of Todra gorges and along its River, where we exchange the heat of the Sahara desert with the cool weather of the Atlas Mountains. Our journey continues to Boumalne Dades to join the valley of Dades, a green lined place of wall nut, fig and almond trees and gorgeous rock formation at both sides. Overnight stay in Dades valley, in a riad with stunning views of the valley. 

Day 7 : Dades Gorges – Roses valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas Moutains – Marrakech

Today we continue our private 8 day / 6 Nights Morocco tour from the Dades valley towards Ouarzazate passing the route of the 1000’s Kasbahs. We will stop at Kalaat Mgouna which is the centre of roses valley. Here we may purchase the rosewater, which is local famous product made from roses. We will visit Ouarzazate movies studio, and also taourirt kasbah in the city. We continue to the “Ait Benhaddou Kasbah“, built by one of the last Berber chieftains. Our Morocco trip continues passing Tizi n’Tichka mountain pass at 2260 m. Then we arrive to Marrakech. Overnight stay in Marrakech.

Day 8 :  Airport Transfer 

You will have breakfast at your hotel/riad and free time to do whatever you want until the convenient time for your flight then we will transfer you to Marrakech airport to catch your plane back home and our 8 Days morocco itinerary ends.
